Flora-Bama hosted Horse Soldier Bourbon and Will Summers in the Tent on September 12th for a one of a kind experience.

About Will Summers: Will Summers is a retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer and served as a member of the 82nd Air Borne Division and Special Forces. Will was a member of the ODA 595 Special Forces team that was the first to land in Afghanistan in response to the attacks on our country on 9/11. Their historic and unconventional warfare experience earned them the moniker, “The Horse Soldiers”, and has been brought to life in the Hollywood film, “12 Strong”, as well in other numerous leading books and documentaries. Today Will is a Brand Ambassador for the international award-winning ultra-premium Horse Soldier Bourbon brand.

Guests received a signed bottle of Horse Soldier Bourbon, hors d'oeuvres, and listened to a 90 minute presentation of Summers' first hand account of his experience in Afghanistan after 9/11. Throughout the presentation Summers described the three different varieties of Horse Solder Bourbon and lead the crowd through tastings of each.  A captivated crowd stood for a standing ovation after Summers' final words. Flora-Bama was honored to host Summers and the Horse Soldier team and look forward to more events together in the future.
