FLORA-BAMA OFFERING WAGE INCENTIVES & LOOKING TO HIRE 200+ POSITIONS

Friday, February 2^nd and Saturday, February 3^rd  from 10am – 6pm, Flora-Bama will be hosting a job fair seeking to hire more than 200 positions across their five businesses: Flora-Bama, Flora-Bama Liquor & Lotto, Flora-Bama Yacht Club, & Flora-Bama Ole River Grill. Managers from each business and department will be on site doing open interviews and fulfilling jobs that day! Training will start soon after hiring to get a jump-start on the 2024 season.  It is highly recommended that all interested applicants go to www.florabama.com/application and apply online in advance. Applications will also be on site and all hires are contingent upon a clean background check, so please bring proper I-9 identification. Some age requirements may be required for eligibility for certain positions at some of the businesses.  Available positions include: Server, Busser, Bartender, Hostess, Food Runner, Dishwasher, Cook, Kitchen Prep, Gift Shop, Liquor Store, Special Event Support, Customer Service, Door Staff, Maintenance and more.

Flora-Bama has a focused search for back of house employees for the restaurants and offers wage incentives to fill these positions. Starting wages are as follows - $18/hour for dishwashers, $20/hour for prep cooks and oyster shuckers, and $22/hour for line cooks. Offering higher starting wages with multiple advancement opportunities, these roles offer a career not just a job. These full-time positions include other incentives like flexible hours, major medical, employee appreciation outings, and apprenticeship program opportunities to become a certified sous chef. It is Flora-Bama’s goal to help assist this community of back of house workers with the increased challenges in the economy by offering these career opportunities and build a strong team within the Flora-Bama family.
