Shindig on the Sand

The Perdido Key Chamber presents Flora-Bama's 2nd Annual Shindig on the Sand Beach Concert!!

Who doesn't love a beach concert? Break out the sunscreen and join us for 3 days of music on the beach and throughout the bar. Featuring 50+ musical acts and over 200 musicians.

The Flora-Bama, Celebrating its 50th Anniversary, will salute the Gulf Coast's finest musicians at the 2nd Annual "Shindig on the Sand" brought to you by Perdido Key Chamber, June 6-8th.  Last of the "Great American Roadhouses", the Flora-Bama partnered, last year and this year, with American Family Care to provide the Gulf musicians access to affordable healthcare and other social services.

Flora-Bama's Gulf Coast Musicians' Assistance Fund (GCMAF) is intended to keep Gulf Coast music alive by sustaining its musicians in mind, body and spirit.  Even a simple low cost physical can result in early detection of problems. The "Shindig on the Sand" celebration, which showcases the musical culture and heritage along the Gulf, does just that!  It provides a way for GCMAF to partner with other health providers and help cut the high costs of urgent medical care for its musicians.

In honor of Flora-Bama’s 50th Anniversary, special guest Billy Currington will be playing on a stage in the sand behind Flora-Bama for a one of kind beach concert. Currington will help raise awareness about GCMAF and help continue the growth of our beloved Gulf Coast musicians. Billy Currington will play at 5:30pm on Saturday, June 7th. This is a separate ticketed event. Tickets are $40 with a discount going to Flora-Bama membership card holders. Tickets available in the Flora-Bama gift shop and online at
